Merry Christmas!

Only one more shopping day 'til Christmas!

The boys in front of the tree.

Well, the Bell family is running behind on its Christmas preparations. This means that you shouldn't expect any Christmas cards from us until after Christmas this year, but they are coming, I promise. We bought the photo frames. We made prints of the photos. The Christmas letter is written. There's just that small matter of printing all 130 or so letters at photo quality, printing the envelopes, putting all the stuff in the envelope, stamping them, and putting it in the mail. The goal is to get it done before New Year's.

Once a friend of ours commented that it was a good thing we were saving money by printing our own cards and photos. Doug started laughing and said that if he were to factor in my hourly rate at what I make when I'm working for pay, the Christmas cards were costing us something like 5 grand per year.

We're heading off to see Grandma and Grandpa Gaunt tomorrow for Christmas, then the day after Christmas we'll be heading off to see Grammie and Gramps Bell. Our dear neighbor, Lynnda, will be watching our bearded dragons Gator and Sunny, and will be giving them such TLC in our absence that they'll never want to come home and live with us.

Today is the day that Santa makes his way around the world to bring toys to all the good girls and boys. We're hoping makes a special effort to fulfill the wishes of our St. Jude friends and all the sick kids all over the world this Christmas...

Don't forget to watch Santa as the North American Aerospace Defense Command tracks Santa's journey with radar as he makes his way around the world at: http://noradsanta.org/english/radar.

Merry Christmas and love to all of you,

Kathleen
