Fire...

Everything's burning, it's surreal...

We evacuated this evening under a mandatory order, Doug and I and the boys, the dog, the two bearded dragons and the snake.

A friend of Doug's whose Rancho Bernardo home burned to the ground early Monday morning, he got out with the clothes on his back and his computer and showed up at our house.

A few items of clothing, our medications, our wedding album, some photos.

The laptop, two USB drives.

All of us are staying at my sister Janet's house for the time being.

Sean is really traumatized. He's convinced that his friend's houses will all burn down and everyone will move away and he won't have a house or friends any more.

The truth is we're way more fortunate than many.

Please pray the winds stop. Enough is enough.
