Road Trip!

Steven, Sean and I are getting ready to leave for Oregon today, for our semiannual family reunion.

We'll be carrying our friends Ellen and Regina in a special place next to our hearts on our journey.

Nothing I'd like better to do than to stop by CHLA and kidnap Regina and her mom and bring them along. Poor Regina is stuck in a small room with two other families on the pediatric oncology ward, with a fever, mouth sores, and all the other horrors that accompany high dose chemo. Unfortunately, CHLA is not St. Jude.

We love this drive. We're taking our time, the reunion is next weekend.

First stop is Doug's sister Deb's house, and some serious cousin time for the boys.

We waited to leave until we could get our hands on the Harry Potter audiobook. I missed the Amazon deadline by a day, but got it at Costco.

Looking forward to our trip north, now if I can just get that car loaded...
