Mardi Gras
The IV
The best one yet, Nurse Leslie is a goddess.
He's smiling because he hasn't noticed the blood yet
The MRI
They've got a new MRI, we've never done his brain in this one yet.
Another new thing is that they've got metal detectors now to prevent stuff like this from happening.
Apparently, what this means for me is that if I want to accompany Steven into the MRI suite, I am not allowed to wear a braa, at least not one with metal hooks.
I removed the offending undergarments and went in there with him. There was much movement of his head when he'd doze off, so I sat at his feet and would squeeze them and bend his toes when his eyes would close or when I'd feel him twitching.
Neuro-Oncology
Dr. Gajjar
All was clear. A big relief.

Speech Therapy
Sarah the speech therapist
We went back to see baby Rayley today after Steven's appointments. She's got a big MRI coming up Friday and her mom is so worried.
We celebrated the good results by going to see The Bridge to Terabithia.
A really good movie, but what a tearjerker (at least for me).
We're getting home late tomorrow night, and happy we are to be heading home with good news.
Thanks to all who prayed and held us in their thoughts.
- Kathleen
