Friends, Family, Drive, Chip and Putt!

This weekend, we traveled up to Orange County to attend a party at Regina's house to welcome her home from St. Jude in Memphis and to celebrate the end of her treatment. Regina had the same sort of tumor as Steven and went through the same treatment, and we are delighted to see that she is doing so well.

We spent the night at my parent's house, where my dad is home recovering from his hip replacement surgery of 12 days ago. We were happy to see him looking great and well on the way to recovering all his walking abilities.

Steven and Sean competed in the Drive, Chip, and Putt competition on Saturday in San Diego and on Sunday in Irvine.

Neither of them did well enough to advance to the playoffs, but Sean received fifth place for chipping at the San Diego event.

Steven and I did OK with our TV experience-- it was mercifully short, Steven spoke and didn't clam up and I didn't cry-- we consider that a success!
