Home Again

Well, not the home we own in San Diego, its our "borrowed" apartment generously provided to us by St. Jude and the Target Corporation, but home is where our family is, and this small 2-bedroom apartment in Memphis is our home for now..

On this Valentine's Day, we are blessed.  After the last cycle, with Steven vomiting and peeing blood, when we spent our entire first day home in the hospital trying to get Steven's vomiting under control, when he wasn't able to walk on his own power, I wouldn't have believed it possible that he could be doing this well this time.

Today he's laughing and arguing with his brother, and was able to attend church tonight with his IV bag in tow.

Right now he's measuring and weighing his BattleBots and writing down all their statistics.  Its past midnight and in a moment I'm going to force him to go to bed.

We are blessed.  Happy Valentine's Day.
